Two spindles can work synchronously and work separately. Thus it will be more efficient than single spindle.
You can switch two spindles synchronously. For example when the first spindle is routing complicated design you could switch the second spindle to do the rest work.It saves much ATC time and highly improve the randomicity of the machine.
